This series of infrared thermometer is composed of SCIT-S / SC probe and SCITV08 instrument. It uses laser to aim at the target. There are two types of laser aiming: 1) laser point aiming type; 2) laser ring aiming type.

The laser point emitted by the SC probe can be used to aim at the target, and the laser point represents the center of the temperature measurement area. The size of the temperature measurement area is determined according to the following figure. For example, the target diameter of the temperature measurement area at 1m is 10.4mm.
SC-S06 has a target diameter of 6mm in the temperature measurement area at 0.6m. As shown below

Laser ring aiming: The center blank round hole is the real temperature measurement area; users can use the laser ring center round hole to aim at the measured target. Even if the red area of the laser ring is not uniform or irregular, its edges are defective, and the round hole is not in the center. It will not affect the aiming and temperature measurement. As long as there is a circular space in the laser spot (the round hole is complete), it can be aimed normally. As shown below.
Focusing: When the distance between the probe and the target is 0.25 to 0.5 meters, pull the objective lens to the outermost edge; when the distance is 1.5 meters away, push the objective lens to the innermost edge. When the distance is 0.5 to 1.5 meters, adjust the objective lens to the middle position. When focusing, the edge of the laser annulus (temperature measurement area) is clear.
